The President of the Republic and Brigitte Macron host the G7 Summit in Évian from June 15 to 17, 2026.
As part of its presidency, France's focus for the Évian Summit is on convergence, with an emphasis on concrete action and a commitment to addressing international challenges.
On this occasion, heads of state and government will discuss responses to international crises, notably Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine and the conflict in the Near and Middle East.
They will also address major global imbalances, which fuel geopolitical, trade, and financial tensions, as well as the conditions for sustainable and shared economic growth, the renewal of international partnerships, and the strengthening of economic security.
They will also discuss several security challenges, including health and digital security, as well as the protection of populations.
Building on the work carried out throughout the French G7 presidency, the Summit brings together the leaders of G7 member countries, representatives of the European Union, partner countries associated with this presidency (Brazil, South Korea, Egypt, India, and Kenya), as well as several international organizations and invited countries, including Ukraine and several Gulf states.
