The French President spoke with the Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, several times over the past few hours.

At the latter’s request and given the humanitarian situation, the French President called President Putin and updated President Zelenskyy.

He once again commended the Ukrainian President’s sense of responsibility in light of the negotiations which are about to start, even while Ukraine is under attack by Russia.
