We must work together:

  • Against terrorist financing: without money, terrorists will be unable to operate.
  • Against use of the Internet for terrorist purposes: we need to work on cyber security so that terrorists can no longer spread their deadly ideas and images, to strengthen trust and security in cyber space.
  • Against Daesh fighters: we will only overcome this threat once the regions where it develops are stabilized. That is supported by our contributions to African military operations.

All these battles can only be won if we fight them together. That is a G7 priority that was addressed by the Interior Ministers at their meeting in Paris on 4 and 5 April and Foreign Ministers on 5 and 6 April in Dinard and Saint-Malo.
