Fighting inequality through digital development and artificial intelligence

We do not live the same way our parents, and especially our grandparents, did. One reason for that is the digital revolution. It has profoundly transformed our habits and raises many challenges, including:

• combating jihadist content, hate speech and harassment in cyber space;
• combating mass disinformation (“fake news”) that threatens our democracies.

To address these challenges, scientists and artificial intelligence experts will participate in the “International Panel on Artificial Intelligence” (IPAI). The G7 Digital Technology Ministers will meet in Paris on 16 May, on the sidelines of the VivaTech show.
