The T7 engagement group involves think tanks from all G7 countries, working to produce analysis and recommendations on a number of key themes.

In 2019, the group will be led by the French Institute for International Relations (IFRI). Its summit was held in Paris on 5 June.

The T7’s work focused on three themes: the effectiveness of the G7 countries’ development policies in addressing inequality in developing countries; the international trade model and how it is being challenged by G7 economies and emerging countries; and global governance, defence of democracies and the future of multilateralism.
