The President of the Republic co-chaired, along with the British Prime Minister and the German Chancellor, a summit of the Coalition of the Willing on Monday, July 13, 2026, at the Hôtel national des Invalides, attended notably by Ukrainian President Zelensky.

On the eve of the July 14 military parade, to which the Head of State invited all countries contributing to the Coalition, this summit served to build upon and expand the progress and common ground achieved, particularly at the G7 Summit in Evian, in reaffirming support for Ukraine’s defense and intensifying pressure on Russia’s war effort, notably through the fight against the “ghost fleet.”

Building on the Paris Declaration of January 6, 2026, this summit allowed leaders to take stock of the operational planning for security guarantees, intended to ensure a robust and lasting peace in Ukraine.

This summit was preceded by the first meeting of the Anti-Ballistic Missile Coalition, held at the Quai d’Orsay, which the President of the Republic closed after meeting with President Zelensky.

Watch the arrival at the summit:

This meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the resources needed to enable Ukraine to defend itself, to strengthen our industrial cooperation, and to pool the expertise of many countries and industries across Europe.
