Nice has won the bet of the Ocean.

The “Nice Commitments for the Ocean” illustrate, through resolutely concrete actions, the political declaration of the UNOC3 which reflects the achievements of environmental multilateralism since UNOC2 and the agreement of the 193 UN Member States and non-State parties to jointly strengthen the ambition in favour of the protection of the Ocean. They constitute in their entirety an ambitious roadmap for all States and stakeholders in the context of Sustainable Development Goal 14, the cornerstone of the protection of the Ocean by 2030.
