President Emmanuel Macron attended the 20th anniversary of the Global Markets Conference in Paris on Thursday 15 May 2025, at the invitation of Jamie Dimon, Chairman and CEO of JPMorgan Chase.
The event aims to mobilise French, European and international investors.
Ahead of the eighth edition of the Choose France Summit, the French President highlighted all the efforts made by France in terms of financial attractiveness since 2017 – measures that have enabled JPMorgan Chase to significantly strengthen its presence in France through its recent Paris expansion.
This momentum, reinforced this past year with the legislation on Paris' financial competitiveness, aims to establish France as the continent's leading hub for investment and corporate banking.
