We often think that the fight against AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria has been won. It has not.
These three epidemics claim millions of lives every year. They are still the tree deadliest diseases in the world. This concerns all of us, all of you. Just 110 days before the replenishment of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, which will take place in Lyon on 10 October, the French President and Elton John have chosen Make Music Day at the Élysée to launch an appeal.
