The Special Envoy and the Secretary General of the upcoming AI Action Summit, scheduled for February 2025 in France, completed a visit to Berlin on 8 and 9 June. The visit was part of the preparations for the global event.
During the stay, they met with a diverse group of stakeholders involved in artificial intelligence in Germany. Meetings were held with government representatives; researchers from institutions such as the Max Planck Institute and the Charité University of Medicine; civil society members, including representatives from the Robert Bosch Stiftung, Agora Digitale Transformation, and Stiftung neue Verantwortung; industry leaders and AI startups, including Aleph Alpha, Merantix and Helsing.
The visit aimed to foster partnerships with the German AI ecosystem and more broadly across Europe in preparation for the AI Action Summit.
The summit, a global event hosted by France, is set to take place on February 10-11, 2025.
