Starting April 8, a collection of around twenty miniature presidential cars will be on display in the entrance hall of La Maison Élysée.
This exhibition offers a chance to discover the vehicles used by various Presidents of the Republic from the Third to the Fifth Republic. The oldest model belonged to President Gaston Doumergue in the 1920s, a Renault 40 CV that served both as his official and personal car. The display also includes several vehicles used by General de Gaulle during his presidency, including a 1962 Citroën DS 19 with a sunroof, complete with a figurine of de Gaulle giving a military salute. Cars from the terms of Jacques Chirac, François Hollande, and Emmanuel Macron are also featured in the exhibition.
These precisely replicated models were created by leading brands such as Norev, Solido, and Rio. The collection is on loan from a private collector, made available through Brussels Art Edition ASBL, which has generously shared it with La Maison Élysée.
