To coincide with Japan Expo in Paris, an unmissable event for fans of Japanese culture, the Élysée Palace is hosting a special exhibition featuring an original signed illustration by Eiichiro Oda, creator of the iconic manga One Piece. This rare piece, gifted to President Emmanuel Macron during his visit to Tokyo in July 2021 for the Olympic Games, will be on display from 3 to 11 July.
Eiichiro Oda, author of the best-selling manga of the early 21st century, made history by entering the Guinness World Records for the highest number of copies published by a single author. The artwork presented to the President features One Piece’s iconic characters: Luffy, Nami, Usopp, Zoro, and Tony Tony Chopper, alongside a warm message: “To Mr President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, and to all the One Piece fans in France.”
This exceptional exhibition offers visitors a chance to witness a unique symbol of Franco-Japanese friendship and explore the captivating world of One Piece.
