President Sarkozy is in favour of the initiative of Bernard Accoyer, President of the National Assembly, who is calling for the establishment of a parliamentary commission of inquiry into recent developments in relations between France and Libya, including in the field of armaments. The Commission's work will confirm all the statements made by the French authorities and highlight the exemplary nature of their action which, with that of the European Union, made it possible to end the imprisonment of the five Bulgarian nurses and doctor.
